Anxiety and Fear

Anxiety can be incapacitating. It may be a  feeling that your world is speeding up or slowing down. When the anxiety becomes pervasive symptoms may include excessive worry, difficulties with sleeping or restlessness, fatigue, irritability, tension, increased heart rate, palpitations and even more. In short, it has a profound impact on the quality of your life.

We will work together to identify and manage your triggers, question and challenge your thought pattern, to explore what works for you to relax your nervous system and identify what supports your resilience.

Certified Shame-Informed Treatment Specialist

Shame is a lonely emotion that most of us identify as experiencing at some point. Our loneliness in our experience of shame is compounded by secrecy, silence and self judgement. Shame  is a powerful body response and it feels personal.

As a CSTS, I provide a safe environment to be seen and heard without judgement, and in personal connection. I support you in developing skills that support you in creating awareness around shame, reducing your identification as shame as who you are and in reframing the shame.

Self Esteem/ Self Compassion

Therapy can be a place to discover and hold our strengths, exploring  what stands in the way of feeling empowered by them, and connecting to our inner power. The result is our self esteem increases.

While I work towards a empowerment of self, I also work towards supporting a greater sense of self compassion.  When we hold our suffering with awareness, acknowledging our humanity and applying kindness we discover our resilience.
